The league campaign went right down to the wire after Celtic and Kendal side Ibis finished level on points.
That led to a decider at Ibis, which started well for the visitors as a well-worked passing move saw captain Mullen beat the keeper in a one-on-one.
The lead was extended after some crisp passing ended with Amber Gibbons slotting Mullen through for her second to put them 2-0 up at the break.
The second half saw Ibis on the attack, but the safe hands of Nicole Macababbad in the Celtic goal, combined with the defence of Hope Kolbe, Shona Thompson and Frayer Dawes, limited their chances.
Ibis struggled to deal with the Celtic attack and were caught on the break as Kolbe cleared from defence and picked out Mullen, who finished well for her hat-trick.
Celtic kept the pressure up and, following a blocked shot from the edge of the area by Amber Gibbons, the ball fell to Georgina Bird outside the area and she fired into the bottom corner to seal a 4-0 win and the double.
