Garden proposal approved

A PROPOSAL to change the use of disused farmland in Coniston into a domestic garden has been approved by the Lake District National Park Authority.

Coniston Records Week

CONISTON Water is the spiritual home of powerboat racing. Just think of Donald Campbell and his famous, but ultimately tragic, exploits in Bluebird. The 2008 Records Week ran from November 3 - 7 and included several highlights, many of which were captured by Coniston Local.
